for me a webquest is an academic tool that teachers use to assign activities or tasks to students in which they make use of internet resources to solve a real messy problem, also a webquest is formed by six essential components that structure the activity and they are useful to organise students at the time of working,these six components are: (introduction,task,resources,process,evaluation,conclusion), it could be use to teach many topics of different subjects and it is an interesting way of teaching and learning.


some advantages a WEBQUEST has are:

 * They are an easy way for teachers to begin to incorporate the Internet into the language classroom,for example.

 * it allows students to share their knowledge between them.

 * webquests are interdisciplinary, allowing for crossover into many departments and subject areas.

 *Learners are not able to simply regurgitate information they find, but are guided towards a transformation of that information in order to achieve a given task.


 disadvantages:

 * students can get confused with some points at the time of working.

 * teacher have to be very clear at the time of giving instructions to students to achieve the aim they want.

well here we are again... and let me tell you guys that this week was kind of hard to me because we had to read a lot and when I say a lot is a lot :p BUT I think this was good for me bacause I learned important points to put in practice when teaching reading and writing and the most important is that I can teach them by using the technology which means that is not going to be boring at the time to learn for students and for me while teaching. I checked the links and the one I think would be useful for an english class is this one: Many Interesting Things for ESL Students http://www.manythings.org/ this web-page is useful for begginers to students who have an intermediate level of english, this site will work for students because it has all the habilities include and also for each hability it has a wide range of activities such a memory games,records,readings,quizzes,puzzles etc also I think this web page is very useful because I consider it is a complete page to practice specially for students who are not native speakers it provides all the sources to be in contact with the real language that usually is not taught in schools, one aspect that I liked a lot is that it has an activity to learn about slangs because most of the time this aspect is kind of difficult to learn or to put in practice because it usually is used for people who is a native speaker, so for all these aspects I think it is a really good page. Hi beautiful people! well I have to say that this is the second week we have been working with delicious and I really liked it,because I find this website nice,funny and also useful, it is a good tool specially for us because we always have different links that we use to study,practice or just for hobbie and with this site we can have a better order of our links in order to find them quickly.

hi boys and girls! well I have to say this week I definitely learnt something new,I didnt know anything about bookmarking but I start to get familiarizaed with this tool by creating my own delicious profile and I found it funny and very useful and it is not complicated to use and I really like the idea of share our favorites links by using this website also I definitely use this web for my future classes and to organize the links where students could find the links to study about the topic they learnt. xoxo!
